Hey guys. I have decided to just put in another 2.9L for replacement. I have been looking for a walkthrough for removal. I understand it is quite simple, but being as it's my first time, I would like to do it right. If anyone had a link to a step by step, or could write one (I know that's a lot), I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again guys!

Drain radiator, remove trans, disconnect fuel lines, remove rad, Unbolt PS pump from engine and lay to the side, unbolt AC compressor and lay to the side if equipped, go around and any wires hooked to both the engine and body should be unhooked from the body and laid on top the the engine.

Get some good ratchet straps (1200 lb test or higher) and tie two of them to the exhaust so they make and X over the intake. That is how you will lift it. Remove the ignition module and dis cap, remove the two nuts for the engine mounts, and yank that bugger out of there.

And, before you yank, double check that you have indeed disconnected everything (like exhaust pipes).
