2.9L to 2.3LT

I have an 88 4X4 ranger reg cab Auto I want to swap a 2.3l turbo into my truck and also make it a 5spd 4X4 has any one dose this and is there a right up aslo about how much will this cost and how long will it take. Also what type of 5spd trans should I get and will a pedel setup bolt right in or not.
