What I have now.
2.9L with factory exhaust manifolds, factory Y-Pipe with factory cats, straight pipe out of the cats to a turndown under the bed.
It is a little loud and I would like to tone it down a bit by adding a muffler and moving the turndown aft of the axle.
I am attempting to choose what style (Not Brand) muffler to use. I would like something mellow at low rpms, but that wakes up quite a bit at higher rpms. Money is a factor, and most styles sound the close to the same from manufacturer to manufacturer.
If this was not a budget project, I would try a SpinTech Pro-Street.

I run them on my FSB and highly recommend them for V-8 applications, but I cant justify the cost for this application.
So, take the pole and choose my muffler
