I have an '89 Ranger with a stock 2.9L V6 and recently cracked a head. My first question would be are the heads interchangeable (side to side)? I pulled a head off of an '88 Bronco II to replace the cracked head. Cast numbers match (86TM). I plan on getting both heads Magnafluxed before I make any further decisions. Is there anything else I need to look out for before I install this head?

Does that mean that they have to have the same radiator? How do I find out if the radiators are the same?

the exploder (91-94)has a hD 2-row radiator on the automatics and a/c , the one you got now is a single row more than likely , thats first upgrade i would do after i got the motor back together just for some added insurance and its 100% bolt in
(using it to cool my 289 v8)
