How hard is it to take out the Fuel injectors and clean them? My Friend was telling me that there is a guy in town that will clean them for $20 a piece with a machine. Has anyone had experience with this?

thanks... thats what I was looking for.

I use this. It connects to my air compresssor, and set it to 30-35psi., relieve the fuel pressure, connect it to the fuel rail, remove the fuel pump relay, and run the can of cleaner through it until the vehicle stalls. Remove it, re install the relay. Job done. The is actually the 'cleaning machine' they mention in that link in post #2.

Yeah, this has been covered a few times before. "Cleaning" injectors properly doesn't really involve removing them from the vehicle. It's not hard to take them out though.

The only time I woutl take one out would be if it was leaking, stuck, or the coil was burnt out.
