By not putting another glass pack on there is a good choice. The setup your doing will sound good after the muffler has time to do the break in process. Maybe 3-5 hp at the most, it will only feel like its more from the sound and better throttle response. For getting the pipe, im clueless also. I never did the installs myself only had my friend's shop do it. I already had my own 40 that I was holding onto for a spare that I bought from the junkyard earlier this year. The tip I bought from Flowmaster for 43.00, then the labor and pipe included. It was around 120.00, but that is my friend giving me a deal. Im not to sure how much other shops would charge. Check in your area to do price checking. My advice would be buy all the parts on your own and that will save you money if you get it done at a shop. They like to up the price a bit if you buy it thru them.
On my 94 I had a y-pipe made at the end of the pipe right where it turns to come out and Im running a pair of these on it side by side, it looks just like a dual tip setup. Its tucked under the bed with only the front part of them sticking out. I am using just a single one on my 93.

Ok thanks. Yes i think i will probably get the shop to do it, makes more sense that way. But wouldnt t5hey not do it? Like wouldnt there be issues with replacing my cat with a highflow one and because its going out infront of the tire possibly? I am thinking that the 40 will be best as i have heard only good things about that muffler and people all over recomend it over others
