Hi All,

This is my first post, I am from Australia.

I am building a Ford V6 although not a 2.9L but a 3.4L based on the British
3L Essex engine. This is quite a rare engine and was only ever made in South Africa. It has many unique parts when compared to the more common Essex 3.0L engine and I am finding it hard to source parts to suit. I am suspecting that parts from the 2.9L engine where used originally to build these 3.4L engines. The Cologne engine was never available in Australia, so I have no way of comparing parts to learn what fits. I am in need of some information regarding the 2.9L conrods as I suspect this is what was used in my engine. I am hoping someone here can help.

I need to know ;

2.9L Conrod dimensions - centre to centre lenght, small end diameter and big end diameter.

Rodbolt dimensions - diameter, thread size, thread lenght, and underhead lenght of rodbolts, to make sure they fit my rods.

Also has anyone had experience with the the roller tipped rockers from CamCraft, are they of a good quality and worth the price ?
