2.9 with an 5.0 AOD?

Is this a possibility? I have a 2.9L 1987 ranger that has a shot A4LD. I also happen to have an AOD from a 91 5.0 mustang. Is it possible to put the AOD into the ranger?

What mods would I need to do?
-Mounts?
-Bell?
-comp?
-input/tail shaft?
-Torque converter?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This would be a simple fix for me and cheap.

you would need to change WAY to much to even make it justifyable. so much custom stuff it wouldnt be worth the time and money and you could have a beefed up A4LD built up for less. I wouldnt waste time or money. It would be possiblt if you could find someone to machine the parts for you but dont waste the effort.
