2.9 with a cam

they should just bolt up. the 4.0 was based on the 2.9 so they share a lot of similarities.

pete would you happen to know what the processor code is on the uce for the maf conversion? i would like to find out so i can see if i can run the tweecer rt on my truck.

Nope, I am not too sure. Already traded all of my 2.9L stuff, so I don't have the computer anymore. I have an '88 federal emission 2.9L ECM / A4LD and that's about it.

volrath the only concern i have with the 4.0 manifold is r they the same on the other end will i be able to connect to the y pipe oh i think i found out why my head gaskets leaked i bought my head bolts from lmc they were 20.00 dollers cheaper but they r junk i ended up buying felpro bolts and the 2 r differant so the machine shop told me thats probley the reason they leaked so i will find out also i noticed my dist was out a tooth so i am hoping that will help me with the pep i am looking for .

they are the same. the ones ive handled with came off of a 94 explorer and the others came off of a 94 4.0 ranger. they were both the same as a 2.9 manifold on both sides.
