2.9 to 5.0 efi

I have a 1989 ford ranger extended cab 4x4 with a auto tranny and a 7.5 rear. I want to do a 5.0 swap and i was wonder what tranny and driveshaft i can use. I want to keep the 4wd functional and still maintain a auto transmission. I already know that i need a 8.8 rear and the computer from the motor.
