SO I just put in a new O2 sensor in my '89 BII cause I busted the old one when I did the trans swap and when I ran the motor without the O2 it studard when I was getting into it but not to terrible, now with the new o2 it really is bad. Any suggestions? Also I noticed that in place of the frame mount filter the previous owner put a inline pump. I know that they did that in 88's. I can't hear a pump in the tank so I am thinking it must have taken a dump and he was to lazy to pull the tank and put a inline pump in. Could it be that the pump isn't correct and not delivering proper fuel pressure? what is a 2.9 supposed to run for fuel PSI? thanks guys

well I found out the hard way what the problem was on the way home from work yesterday. I going to shift into OD and the clutch went to the floor hard so I figured I blew a line or o-ring, then about another 5 miles later as I was slowing for a stop sign the engine died and so I coasted into a bar parking lot and went to open the hood and then the hood release broke off at handle. But the fuel pump no longer turns on so that answers that.

man sounds like you got some luck? lol i replaced mine a while back ago, luckly they only run about 40$.
