2.9 rockerarm shaft cleaning

hello

i need to remove the plugs from each end of the shaft that the rockerarms

are mounted on so that I can clean the inside diameter,.

HOW ?? do they come out

Pressed in?

Not having had one apart my guess is that they are pressed in.

If thats the case you may have to destroy one to get it out buy drilling a hole in it and pulling it out with a slide hammer.

I would just flush it out with solvent unless it's really clogged.

If there is a slot in it, it may unscrew.
