the sensor in my oil pan leeks around were it screws into the oil pan. and also around the plug. i am thinking that the blue gasket is the big problem. is there a gasket between the oil pan and sensor? I found a few new sensors from $70-$90 and i don't really want to spend that much. any other ideas of sealing it up?

after a few engine swaps this sensor was not on my must have list, is it leaking from the pan or is the sensor the problem i have had the sensor go bad [ leaks ] being cheap is not all bad tap threads into the inside of sensor [remove unit from pan before doing this] learn to check oil more often

Go to the JY and pull one off another 2.9. I don't think they'll even charge you for that.
