No have replaced TFI twice along with distributor and the TFI pigtail. Still same exact running problem as described on this post.
2.9 misfires while alternator is working.

I would try to get a factory tfi from a junk yard, or a few to have on hand. I've tried 2 from autozone and both do it. Even the ones from Ford dealer are not real oem anymore.
