These still available? I've got an 87 supercab so making sure parts will fit is always a pain. I'll have to look at my current headers but I'm in the market since my entire exhaust needs to be replaced.

They are still available. Double check your driversside head for an ERG tube.

Just saw your message. I'll check today. Would the Y pipe work with the EGR headers if I need those? My exhaust is toast so I'm just going to redo it all at once before it goes in for inspection. I had to convince the guy to let me slide last year and now it's worse.

An 87 2.9 will have EGR.

There is also different Y-pipe to cat flanges for EGR and non-EGR.

Probably still bolts to the block and cylinder head like it always did.

I am unsure about the alternator. I never had the 88 headers on my truck so I couldnt say.
However as stated above, i dont think it would be an issue.

I never realized that was bolted to the block. It looks like part of the manifold when everythings all rusty

Yeah, I have remove the alt bracket, and passenger side exhaust manifold/header from my 2.9s many times. That bracket doesn't bolt to the exhaust at all.
