2.9 injector install

When reinstalling the injectors and fuel manifold what is a good sequence to follow? Injectors into the intake manifold first and then fit the fuel manifold to the top of the injectors or injectors installed in the fuel manifold and then try to wiggle them into the intake?

The second one. Injectors in the rail and wiggle into manifold. I use a deadblow hammer to lightly tap into place. I get the drivers side started first and then wiggle the pass side in. I also remove the divers side valve cover to get at the bolts that hold the rail in place.

That's how I do it anyhow. But I am a noob

Never actually fiddled with a 2.9 but generally speaking you install the injectors on the rail, then install the rail.

Always lube!!!! Motor oil...
