2.9 cylinder heads

try like car-part.com and look for the 91 and newer heads for the 2.9. 1990 might work as well but the "better" heads didnt make it into production till the end of the model year. also a junkyard would have them for cheap just get them magnafluxed before you install em

ebay has some refurbished ones for 249.99 loaded plus shipping also have a install kit with gaskets and bolts for 80 bucks more im thinking about picking these up as soon as i get some cash

If you're decent at parts change overs? We did ours using world products 'bare heads' (just the heads with valve seats installed) Due to the overstock? The cost for a pair of 'em came to just about $160ish including shipment. A bit labor intensive to remove each valve, measure to ensure still in spec, and installation into the new head. But it seems to be doing well so far.

Pick-N-Pull... although, you have to uninstall them yourself from a junkyard. Do your research and see what years of BII or Rangers had the same heads and install those AFTER you get them magnafluxed. Most Pick-N-Pulls will give you store credit if it is faulty, at which point you would have to uninstall another head.
