I have very little experience selecting cams, but wish to put a little hotter cam into my 90' 2.9.
I found 3 RV grinds from CamCraft
H39-9802 Adv Dur: 248 / 252 , .050 dur: 198 / 202 , Lift: 405 / 412 , LSA: 109
H39-0206 Adv Dur: 252 / 256 , .050 dur: 202 / 206 , Lift: 412 / 412 , LSA: 110
H39-0606 Adv Dur: 256 / 256 , .050 dur: 206 / 206 , Lift: 412 / 412 , LSA: 110
What i'm looking for is more bottom end torque to pull, and get me off the line, not so much top end horsepower (i know i cant have cake and eat it too...)
Needs to pass emissions, current stock setup passes with flying colors, except for slightly high NoX.
I dont want a huge lump at idle either....
Anyone able to suggest what grind i should pick?
