I asked on here about a cold air kit and was told
it was a waste of money just buy a k/n filter
my question is their any mods to do to the
stock air box to make it flow better or just
put the k/n in and call it a day thanks.

There, their, they're. English seems to be your first language, please go learn it.

No, there isn't much to be done to the stock box for flow. Just put the filter in and go.

just asked a question about an air box
used one word incorrectlly did not need
an english lesson what are you an
college professor? just answer the
questions and keep the wise guy
comments to yourself.

Nope. Just throw in a filter and go. No need to do anything else.

ohh... someone is new to the internet i guess...

not much to be done, the airbox flows more than any STOCK engine will ever need, now forced induction, or crazy porting combined with ridiculous cams is another story because you have changed how much air the engine can suck in

What they said, that's the same filter used on the 4.0L engine, and is the same filter I'm running on a 2.3L turbo, I like the stock look, and it seems to work well.
