2.8l Rod Bearings

i have been calling around to get bearings for my engine and no one seems to know what i need. on my rod bearing it has stamped in it 4-83 0.25us 73tm6211ga and it has ford stamped in it so i know it is not some generic bearing. can anyone help

Well you likely won't find any decent help at a local parts store. Not unless you are really lucky. Take the bearing to a machine shop and see if they can order the correct parts.

i would say try an indepth store, somewhere that does engine rebuilds aswell as is a parts store... or a racing supply store, they tend to be more focused towards building motors vs repairing motors

Those are engineering and spec numbers. If you are trying to look the part up with them you aren't gonna get very far.

I'd try A&A auto parts. Some of the guys that work there are morons, but they are usually at least marginally better than AZ or Advance.
