yeah racer walsh makes some but have ya priced em? 675 bucks i bought .030 over forged pistons for my 302 for only 400 bucks is there anywhere else that sells em cheaper than that?

I dont see a reason for them unless your running a turbo or other stuff.

I agree that they aren't necessary. Modern cast pistons are pretty good and will last many miles.

The reason they are so expensive is that they don't make many of them; just like gasket sets and other parts.

exact reason why i need them. either supercoupe supercharger or a turbo.

For that price I would put a Turboed Thunderbird 2.3 liter in it.

That's about right. I was quoted almost 700 for a set of custom made for my 2.9L (wanted to super charge). Ended up putting in a V8.

all i can find for a good price is cast pistons. so i reckon i wont go over 10psi of boost.

I wouldnt go over 7psi being a carb. and the chance of leaning out is greater. If you do decide to do this lets see how you do it.

IMO I'd put a 4.0 or Thunderbird 2.3t in it.
