2.8 exhaust manifold mods/headers/compatibles?

Well looks like a much cleaner set-up and those belts look to be stronger then the v-groove ones. I also see that hes using an alernator with a built in voltage regulator too (have one setting out side set-up for serpetine belt). I wonder if I can just swap the v-pulley for the serpetine one?

I would try to put that set-up on your engine.

yes the serpentine belt system does look pretty interesting, only prob might be is finding the stuff.... these old vans up here seem to have all met the crusher.... will look into this set up, going to his place in a day or two to pick up the "headers" and i will ask to take a look at his rig for ideas.

That is the t-stat housing also I was telling you about with the 1 inch bypass hose

I just put a spark plug in the old 3/4 inch bypass hose I cut off I couldnt get the nipple out of it and didn`t want to force it and possibly have to pull the intake off it to fix it. I plan on doing a permanent fix I have to find the right size galvanized plug.

I have a set out of a 86 aerostar, I run a set on my 84 bronco II with a rebuilt 78 2.8 engine. There in nice condition, I could dig them out and if you want em how's 75.00 plus ship. Email me at itandbt@shaw.ca and I can send you pictures. I also run the serpentine belt out of the aerostar too with a 2150 and duraspark and the turbo coupe oil cooler, daily driver for quite a few years now.
