Alright ive came along way from before got the wiring harness and everything ready to go putting 2.9 in my 1986 ranger its FI and the 2.8 i took out was carb my donor was a wrecked bronco2 Now my problem is the fuel tank wasnt thinking but i cant use the bronco 2 fuel tank it is way different and was told i need to buy a ranger fuel tank but i think other wise cant i just buy a fuel pump or change the fuel tank ring? i thought i could do that with the bronco2 but the tank is shorter and wouldnt pick up fuel past a quarter tank and the fuel gauge would be wrong. So can i buy a fuel pump and just put it on the original tank or what about a high output inline fuel pump woul like to keep the cost as low as possible but have no idea and a little confused about the whole think what ideas do you all have in mind or can you explain this to me in dumbass terms
need some help hoping i can have a response with in a few hours cause i need this info like yesterday thanks you all have helped me out so much and i need one last bit of helps thanks any comments welcome.
