2.3T into 2.9 wiring?

Hey guys, I looked through the turbo section but I couldnt quite get a solid enough answer for me. Ive found a 2.3t engine in a merkur and Ive got a 2.9 donor truck with a mint body. Am I going to have the 70+ hours of wiring ahead of me that you get with the 5.0 efi swaps? I know the 2.3 is an easy engine to swap into an existing 2.3... Can I swap the whole computer from the merkur in for the 2.9s rather than making a special Harness?

you need the 2.3 engine wiring harness and PCM, your 2.9 junk goes out the window. there is a minimal amount of adapting the 2.3 wiring harness to the truck.
