Hi everybody I have a 89 ranger 5 speed 2 wheel drive with a 2.3. The truck will start but won't stay running unless I continously tap. I tried holding it quarter throttle half and full won't stay running but if I tap the throttle it'll stat alive. I've checked the TPS, TFI, Crank Postition Sensor, and a few other things I can't think of at the moment. I've also pulled the computer apart and check to make sure that nothing burned up, no burning but it did seem like there was some moisture nothing serious and everything looked fine so I think it's still ok. Anyways I'm at my wits end I can't figure it out and was hoping someone could give me some suggetions. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

Only thing I can think of is vacuum issues or IAC.

yeah i checked the vaccum, no leaks, and I don't think the IAC is bad or at least it's not the main problem because I can't keep it runnig at quarter throttle where the Idle Air Control Valve doesn't really come into play. But pumping the throttle will keep it running. something i forgot to mention before is that i can keep it running by spraying carb cleaner in the intake, i know i know it's bad for the motor, but it leads me to believe that it's something with the injectors. they will fire if i tap the throttle but anything else they won't fire. thanks for the suggetion though i'll double check my vaccum lines.
