I have a 2.3 engine out of a 97 ranger. It has the dual plug head. I’m going to set it up for a turbo. I have turbo pistons and rods from a turbo coupe. Can anyone tell me if the crank and the head both work with these rods and pistons?

The rods were the same for all Lima's through '97 so you're good there, pistons should be fine too. The main differences starting in '95 were the oil pump moving, distributor hole going away, different crank sensor and smaller valve stems with slightly different valvetrain geometry but the same profile.

Can you make any 2.3 lima into a turbo engine?

Yes, the one and only difference between an N/A and turbo block is the turbo oil drainback hole a bit above the oil pan rail... they have the same bore as a standard and since the cylinder pressure is less the chances of a tapered bore are less on an N/A block...
