I searched around for quite a while and either A) truly can't find my question answered anywhere, or B) can't put the pieces together in the right order to answer it myself!
So, here's the deal. I've been looking for a 95-97 2.3 Ranger to do the whole turbo setup on. Anyways, I found one with a blown up tranny in it, and am curious what is needed to swap in a T5. I know TurboCoupes and whatnot ran the T5, but will the clutch assembly mate up to it? Will the Ranger master cyl. run the T5 slave without mods? Will I need a different flywheel and clutch pack as well? (I'm changing the clutch anyway to hold the power, but just so I know...)
Also, will the speedo be affected? It sticks in my mind 95-97 Rangers use the sensor in the rear end, but I'm just double checking to be sure.
Lastly, will the driveshaft mate up to it, or will I have to have a custom length shaft built?
Thanks!
