I just got the truck and it ran fine. Took it on a road trip and it started to run rough,on idle and through its rpm range. I have replaced the coil packs,plug wires,and plugs. Still run terrible. The truck only has 70K on it. It completely dies when I put on the AC. I am baffled. Any help will be great THANX FRED

Check you cam timing to make sure the timing belt didn't jump a few teeth. It's happened to me and makes it run like crap.

Check your fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel pressure regulator.

The one part of your ignition you didn't mention was the ICM. That could also cause your symptoms (although it's usually not a part that fails).

Check all those things and get back to us.

does it die while idling with the a/c on or does it die while driving down the road with a/c on? a/c clutch would be good to check. also the iac made my expo do that. as well as maf and/ or tps

It only dies at idle. Works fine when it runs, even blows cold air. How do I check to see if it jumped a couple of teeth on timing gear?

If you jumped teeth it'd run like crap all the time.

Check how dirty your idle air contol motor is and how dirty and gummed up the passage is.
