are the rods found in the 2.3 forged or cast. if they can handle 300-400hp, i would think they are forged. any opinions or facts?

they are the same part number as n/a 2.3 which are cast... the reason the pistons are forged is becuase high temperatures wich would melt/crack/destroy cast pistons

They are cast, and they are the same rods in the 90s 2.3L n/a motor that were used in the 80s turbo motors. same part number and everything.
