I have been reading on here and everyone says basically to stick with a 2-1/4" diameter exhaust. I am fine with that but was wondering about a bolt up exhaust. This seems like a great idea because you can replace whatever part rusts out. Is this a good way to go with a basically a stock engine? My cat does not have a flange on it, so I'm guessing I would have to replace it or find someone to weld one on. I was also wondering if anyone has any ideas on what would be a good system to replace it with. I have seen a lot of parts on ebay just not sure how well they would work/last. Thanks for any input.

Just my opinion, I would take the truck down to a good exhaust shop and have them build you an exhaust system.

I have done that in the past was trying to save some cash when it started rusting out.
