i was wondering about cranking my bars up to almost all the way up then putting two inch blocks in the rear to give it a little lift with stock rake almost. does anyone have pictures of this or recommend something else. i am looking to keep it cheap and functional. btw does anyone know how much new torsion bars and bolts are? lastly my buddy has a body lift for a 00 and my truck is an 01 will this fit. if there is anything different in the two lifts what is it?

Dont stock 4x4 rangers come with 2" blocks from the factory? I know the older ones did...

if you like your stock ride and handling, then i'd go with your buddy's body lift. it will fit and it won't change your suspension, ride, etc. unlike a t-bar/block lift. no need for alignments, etc. like you'll have to do with the t-bar/block lift. the body lift will also give you lots more room when you're working underneath your truck.
just my $.02.

so the bl will fit my truck even though 01 and 00 are the years the truck changed

yerp..same BL
And what are the spec on your truck? is it a 2wd Edge or a 4x4? if its 4x4, then yes...it'll already have blocks..and if thats the case, and you still want more lift in your rear, then just get bigger shackles =2"

yes, the body lifts are all virtually identical, i used the 95-99 2wd kit on my 07 4x4, with no problems at all

don't crank your bars all the way, you'll kill your cv's and ball joints... do the body lift, and a minor crank... as for the blocks, my truck came with blocks, i took them off and put the shackles on... the blocks will go back on eventually, but i will probably be doing some sort of mod to limit the amount of axle wrap it causes
