Hi, thank you in advance for your help.
I have a 2.3 lima engine with 4 plug distributor, vacum advance, and duraspark 2 module. I'm searching for new distributor with no luck. The current one is in pretty bad shape. Any direction on where to find a new one, or how to change to different style ignition would be greatly appreciated.

And I thought the guys with the 2.8 v6 had problems. Looks like the early 2.3 distributors have dried up also.

Here's one on ebay. It will not plug in, you will have to make your own connections. And it is missing the ground wire which you can add.

Lol it has been very hard to find an exact match. I've found some like the one you recommended, and with vacuum advance. Just not sure how to make them work with duraspark 2 module. Most are 2 wire. So I suppose I will need to add ground as you suggested?

They say they are magnetic trigger. That is the same as the duraspark. The two wires will have a A/C signal on them as the distributor turns. The 3rd wire on the duraspark system was a ground that bolted to the distributor body itself. You could also use a HEI module bolted to a heat sink, or the fancy MSD 6 ignition box.

Good deal! I appreciate your help. Will post when I get it running.
