2.3 exhaust 2 mufflers?

i have a 1990 ranger 2.3L. It has a glasspack on currently. If i keep the glasspack and at the end of the exhaust i want to put on a magnaflow racing series. the magnaflow you can see right through it. it i have both mufflers on will it effect my hp or my gas mileage?

i like it but its sounds better with both and its a little quieter but will it affect hp or gas mileage?

i am runing 2 1/4 inch exhaust from the cat back
