2.3 engine help

I'm building a clone of my high school /college ride and 89 range shortbed s with a twin plug 2.3, i had to put in a new fuel pum and the truck had been sitting for quite a while, changed oil check fluids and the truck started up fairly easy, let it run for a few minutes shut it down restarted and let run for about 10 minutes and then it shut it self off, didn't starve for fuel no mechanical or metallic sound in any way, just like turning the key off. went to restart and the started is load, motor turns and it rumbles like it wants to start but doesn't, starter sounds bad but motor doesn't seem tight, radiator and oil levels are fine and no signs of any mixing between the to. any ideas???

might be a stuck injestor loading up one of the cylinders with fuel. pull off the spark plugs and tell us what you find. then change em with either motorcraft, or my personal favorite, ngk v-power. also check your wires. they could be shorting out, and not giving the plugs enough power to burn the fuel, hence loading the motor up. this is all i can think of right now.

well if it overloaded with fuel then it would take a minute to start up the next time and u can take plugs out after it shut off and if the plugs and cylinder is overloaded with fuel then theres ur problem.
