Hey guys, here it is, still in missoula, on my uncles computer.
We dyno'd the 97 ranger 2.3 before and after chip. Keep in mind the truck wasnt stock to start with.
Wheel HP
Before RPM Chip
63 2500 74
82 3000 88
97 3500 109
107 4000 116
116 4500 122
PEAK 118 4800 131 <- Peak
103 5000 119
94 5500 106
SCARED OF ROASTING D.D. No Higher
Wheel torque Ft. LBS
Before RPM Chip
132 2500 155
143 3000 154
145 3500 163
140 4000 152
135 4500 142
129 4800 143
108 5000 124
89 5500 101
YES, BROKE 130!
So I my biggest gain was +16 HP, +23 Ft. Lbs. typical tuner numbers, but higher than i thought in torque. It feels great though, the truck feels ballsy now. But for $337 including shipping and 16 horses, thats21 bucks a pony. 337 for 23 Ft. Lbs. is $14 a Ft.Lb. I think it was money well spent. But I am curious how much less the gains are with regular fuel. But the Jet site sheets are bull, kinda odd that its all even numbers
