can i turbo my 87 2.0 and it not blow up after?

Yes, and no...
The 2.0 is the same as the 2.3 but with slightly smaller pistons...
You would probably need to put on a 2.3 head for better results...but the intake and exhaust/turbo should bolt right onto your head...
The big problem is the pistons are not forged and may only take 5psi of boost...
Oh, and you'd pretty much have to swap in all the wiring and other parts for the fuel injection...but it can be done
...and the no part is that there is no guarantee that it won't blow up due to age or stressing parts that shouldn't be stressed by a turbo
