2.0 swap to 2.3 question

I want to replace my wore out 2.0 with a 2.3 and I found a 2.3 from a 1977 pinto. I understand that the blocks should be the same with the exception of the bore but my question is will my brand new 2.0 clutch fit the 2.3

It should. I used the new clutch, pressure plate and even the flywheel from my 2.0 when I swapped in a 2.3.

Ok that sounds great. I've got enough work ahead of me without dealing with clutch issues. Thanks for the input, I need all the help I can get

Let me know if you run into any problems. My 1987 was a 2.0 and now sports an '85 2.3 from a Mustang. I don't remember anything that didn't interchange other than different intakes.
