I have 1986 ford ranger 2.0l with a 5 speed manual tranns. I am in severe need of a flywheel and am wondering if a 2.3l Flywheel will work.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this question but how un/common is to not have a tach from the factory because most of the gauges i find are for trucks with stock tachs.

Thanks

I would think they were the same. The 2.3 is a bored out 2.0......

Edit:

Just checked out autozones site and they list the same flywheel....

Go for it!

ok thanks thats what i thought but didn't want to go blow a whole bunch of money and sit around for the wrong parts.

p.s does anyone have a flywheel in good shape they would like to sell?

thanks

brand new one is like $50 on summit?

Shucks/Kragan (partsamerica) has them for like $30 for a remanufactured one
