1st Gen wiper motor removal

Whats the magic trick to remove the wiper motor from the truck? I couldn't get the drive arm out of the two wiper arms. I ended up unbolting the drive arm from the wiper motor itself.
 
After 20 years of working on Fords, you probably answered your own question. Lol
