1st gen daily drivers?

Just curious if anyone DDs an 1st gen with the original drivetrain and stockish suspension? Doesnt seem like it anymore.

What do you consider a first gen? I call all the boxy trucks first gen and all the roundy trucks second gen lol. My buddy drives his 89 every day. Bone stock except for what's been hacked and welded over the years.

Mine has a stockish suspension. Front springs are for an Explorer and rear leaves are for an ‘09 scab. Stock height.

83-88 is 1st gen.
89-92 is 2nd gen.
93-97 is 3rd gen.
98-01 is 4th gen.
02-11 is 5th gen.
