I Have A 99 Ranger 4 Banger I Want To Swap In A 302 Carb With C4.i Have Not Seen Any Info On 98 And Newer Swaps For Carb Engines.
Ineed To Know About Mounts, driveshaft, wireing, rad, fuel System, ect. If You Could Help With Info Please This Is My First Time Trying Something Like This Also Will Have A Nice 2.5 And 5 Speed For Sale Runs Great 98000 Miles On It

If this is your first time trying something like this I would sure stay with the EFI Explorer set-up. There is a reason you don't see write-ups on the later Rangers with a carb, just not easy ditching the computer, wiring nightmare. Check some of the earlier posts on wiring problems and see what others have ran into.

Im not for sure but I think explorer 5.0 mounts and oil pans work.

Good idea about the explorer five o. I dont know if the have the same style of EEC but making that motor work would be so much easier then the nightmare of all the codes and crap you would get from taking off those sensors and everything. Plus more reliability.

The Explorer mounts only work if you have the torson bar suspension. I know the guy who has the plans for the mounts if you have the coil springs. The computer is the OBDII, too many things now get fed thru it Get the wiring diagrams you need from Helms Inc.
