1999 Manual swap question CSS

Working on a 2000 sport Trac with a 4.0 SOHC engine. I have most of the swap completed but I'm hung on the wiring for the clutch starter safe switch. The wiring under the dash does not have the pig tail like all of the other manual swaps I've done.
I'm using a manual PCM and the wiring harness from a manual. I ended up changing the power distribution wiring from the donor rig because the sport Trac wiring for the alternator didn't match. This included running the wires from the heater motor all the way around to the distribution box and the fire wall plug.
At his point I'm thinking I'm home free but no...lol
I get the pedals in and find there is no pig tail for the CSS. I pulled the dash thinking I could swap with the dash out of my donor rig (99 ford ranger with a SOHC)
Turns out the wiring is different. I happen to have another 99 and it has the same square plug behind the fuse box as the ST. I pull that dash thinking we've got this and baammm. It doesn't have wiring for the power windows and the 4x4 module is different.
Question is how do I bypass the CSS so it will start? 4x4 will work, and cruise will work?
I should add that it is a job 1 sport trac.
Just to make things interesting the PADS is different between the 2 as well. Lol

I am confused, easy to do

Sport Trac Swap, into.......................??
A Ranger, what year
EDIT, sorry I missed the 1999 part

If wiring was from an automatic then starter motor by-pass can be done there, at DTR sensor connector in trans tunnel, also Neutral, and Reverse Lights are there for manual trans use.

You can get a Clutch switch for clutch pedal push rod and it connector from wrecking yard, and extend the needed DTR sensor wires back to cab for hook up to that switch.

4x4 system controller varied by year, so what year and vehicles system do you want to use?
The dash board 4x4 switch and lights also varied by year so include the year of dash and vehicle it is from

1999 Ranger used the GEM(generic electronic module) as the 4x4 controller, and it should still be in the dash, and transfer case wire should just plug in to shift motor

Go here to get wiring diagrams, 1998 is same as 1999: http://therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=162915

Doing a manual swap in a 2000 sport trac. It was manufactured on 5/00 so I believe it is a job1.
I used a 1999 ford 4x4 ranger as a donor rig. The ranger has a SOHC engine but, it was swapped in from a 2001 ranger, according to the part numbers I have ran on it and the fact it has a 2001 hood and front axle.
The wiring from the ranger doesn't have the separation between the engine harness and the transmission so I used the engine/transmission wiring from the ranger. Turns out the engine harness is different for the alternator so I decided to swap the wiring from the firewall forward to make it a clean as I could. I'm also using the valve covers and intake off the 2001.
When I put the pedals in I discovered the wiring under the dash didn't have the pig tail for the clutch safety switch.
I thought I could swap the dash out but the wiring between the dash and the accessories are different. The sport trac has a 3x3 plug on the driverside under the dash and the ranger has a much smaller plug in the same location.
In addition the PADS systems and 4x4 module are different.
At this point I opted to put the original dash in the sport trac and just deal with the issues that may arise. I also had to go with the automatic PCM because the PADS system will not interchange, one box is a Canadian built and the other is Mexico built.
I will have the engine compartment done today so we will see how things go.
Maybe it will ignite on contact.....?

PATS(passive anti-theft system)

Yes, 1999 Ranger will use a separate PATS module above glove box hooked(married) to PCM
Explorer has PATS in the PCM.

So just use everything from Explorer and do the neutral wiring from DTR sensor

Should have a Pink wire and a Tan/red stripe wire on the DTR connector, when those two are connected starter motor relay can be activated by the Key in START

The DTR will also have a Red/white stripe wire, thats the Neutral wire for the 4x4 system, it is GROUNDED when in Neutral.

You can run those 3 wires up to a new Clutch switch, just use local Ground for Neutral
So clutch pedal down, clutch switch closed, Pink and tan wire are connected, and Red wire is Grounded

backup/reverse lights need to be pulled from DTR as well, not positive on colors in explorer, purple/orange stripe wire should have 12v when key is on, it should connect to black/pink stripe wire(to backup light bulbs) when trans is in Reverse

You can have the Automatic software deleted from the PCM, until then CEL(check engine light) will stay on because no trans solenoids are detected

PATS....yes that. Lol
The explorer PATS has a box behind the airbag but it is totally different from the one in the ranger.
Is the PATS system married to the PCM?
Thanks for all the help by the way.
