Wife got it new, never smoked in never in salt (garages in winter) interior fair condition, body and frame are great shape and no rot just mild surface rust on frame.
The BAD part is the engine is kaput. The pass head has the crack in between cylinders and she would blow white smoke for quite a while driving. Went to run some errands the other day and she had a loud ticking and zero oil pressure.

Since this vehicle rarely gets used im not surprised she gave up the ghost. 179k miles on the ticker. Thing is the trans is great, the front end parts were all replaced, I took care of the old girl.

I started t take out the engine, I removed the valve covers and the pushrods all seem to be fine. Im too old and have back issues to go any further pulling the engine. 4.0 V6 pushrod engine (iron heads)
I hate to see her go to the crusher so if there is anyone out there that could use an excellent roller please let me know. I think 2k OBO is fair. Located in Cleveland, Ohio

'99 with a blown up V6 is ideal for a V8 swap. Wish we were closer together.

that is a super clean truck

Yea that's why It pains me to see it not running. There are stull build tags on the brake and fuel lines underneath...

Well I found why she failed. Or was ticking really bad with no oil pressure. Clogged oil pump pick up screen. She always did run a bit cool. Always used Valvoline and changed at 10k
