Hello. I have a 1999 2WD 3.0 gas Ford XLT Ranger.

I have been hearing a "Clicking" sound when I brake on the Drivers Side.

I checked brakes seem fine, Rotor seems Fine, Caliper not sure.

No brake light or ABS light just "Clicking" when I hit the Brake.

The "Clicking" gets more rapid the faster I am going when I brake.

The "Clicking" happens no matter the direction forward, left or right turn.

I Noticed these Bushings seemed bad, can this give me the "Clicking" issue? Lower Control Arm bushings?

ANy suggestions of where to look I appreciate it.

Thanks!

Could be your issue. It certainly wouldn't hurt replacing the ball joints. Seeing how the boot is torn all the way around and looks EXTEMELY dry, which should be covered in grease because of the boot. I would be willing to bet that it would be the most likely cause of your issue.

Thanks for that! I am not a Pro so your help is appreciated.
