Hi guys i just bought a ^^^ but its an automatic transmission which i dont really like. i would rather have the 5 speed. Can anyone tell me years and models which i could get a used one from a reckers. Does it have to come from a 4x4 truck or will a 2wd 3.0 5 speed work????

also if i cant find a 5 speed tranny, the auto that is in it has a little problem. When you put it into drive it doesnt go right away... it seems to be like i have to give it some gas then it goes into drive and wants to move.

the truck has 314 000 on it if it helps diagnose the problem...

thanks dylan

Has to be from a 4x4 3.0 4.0 bellhousing is different I think. At 314,000 miles your lucky thats all the tranny is doing:) that being because you don't know when it was replaced or serviced last. You could try a fluid and filter change that may help the shifting a bit.
