1999 3.0L swap with 2002 3.0L

My engine locked up in my 1999 3.0 v6 flex fuel.. I can't find a motor for direct fit but did find one from a 2002 that is 3.0L v6 and flex fuel as well. Would it be a clean fit? Or would I have to change anything else for it to fit properly?

I swapped a 01 3.0 iirc into my 99. I had to swap a couple sensors but nothing major. I think it was an 01 but I'm not %100, its been 6 years since I did it.
Ps. Move this to the 3.0 section. You'll likely get better responses there

Thread moved. As stated, might have to swap a sensor or two. Btw, you can use a 3.0 that's not flex fuel, and just install your intake onto the replacement motor...
