1998 trans acting weird

I have a 98 4 cyl auto and i am not sure what is going on in the tranny. It dont leak a bit of fluid but seems to go through a court a week. It shifts fine. When you put it in drive or rev it had a delay befor it goes into gear. Any ideas? Tranny fluid looks great and had not burnt oder to it
