1998 Ranger 4x4 Ground Up Restoration

Your truck is beautiful already and it is not even done yet. I love the color. I wish I would have learned body work.

The progress is exciting!

i am jealous of your patience!

my paint jobs have bugs and dust in them.....usually rattle can.

this is awesome work.

that exhaust was worth every nickel...they did a great job.

Looks really nice!

What's up guys. I can't believe it's been 2 months since I uploaded any progress photos. Things have been progressing nicely for the most part. I'll explain in a little more detail later on but for now enjoy the pics!

Getting the cab painted. Masking and prepping this probably took 8 hours and the actually spraying probably only took and hour and a half. Worth it. :icon_thumby:

Changing up the interior color to black from the horrible light grey color. I bought headliner material from Jo-Ann Fabrics and relined the headliner and re-carpeted the back panel.

Finally starting to see my hard work come together. Getting my interior installed was probably my favorite part of the build. Especially installing my Corbeau leather seats and seeing them in the cab for the first time! I also purchased a set of Corbeau 3 point seat belts in black which fit perfectly.

Getting my stereo installed was a challenge. I ran 1/0 wiring from the battery and split them out to 4 gauge to power each individual amplifier. I built the box to meet the air specs of the sub and to not reduce the amount of leg room that's already in short supply in this truck. The box is ugly AF. I am definitely not a carpenter but its sealed up tight and all the miscuts are hidden by the carpet. :icon_rofl:

For those who are wondering I am running.

Pioneer TS-D681R 6x8 speakers
Kicker L7 Solobaric 10" Subwoof
Hertz HCP 4D 4 Channel Amp
Kicker CX1200.1 Mono Channel Amp
Kicker Wiring

This thing hits hard and it hits tight. I love it.
