my 98 4x2 has wiper and washer problems, I'm looking for the wiring diagram for the wiper motor and washer so I can cut them out of the factory switch and put them back on the dash. I'm not a fan of all in one switchs

You didn't post engine size so I used 3.0l, may or may not matter

Looks like there are only 3 wires you need to deal with, assuming you can find a dash mounted wiper switch with the same setup as multi-function switch

sorry rond I have a 4.0 thanks for the diagram,, all I need is to turn the wipers on and off, and power the washer thanks again. bruce

Thanks from me too...I was just thinking I needed a diagram to try to match my 88 wiper motor with the 96 wiper switch...

the 88 comes with an intermittent module under the dash...that somehow needs to be spliced in with the 4 wires on the motor and the six wires that the 96 uses...so now I can ponder that a bit before messing it up...then I will need to concentrate...
