1998 Ford Ranger transfer case

My friend has a 1998 Ford Ranger 3.0 5 speed 4x4. He always has trouble getting in and out of 4 wheel drive. I was wondering if there are any manual transfer cases that would bolt into this truck?
 
1354 manual, the 1350 manual will also bolt up, but is weaker and will need mods
